Enjojo Lodge – Queen Elizabeth N.P

Enjojo Lodge is a hidden gem in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is surrounded by acacia forest, scattered grassland, and lush vegetation with palm trees.

The 40-hectare property is solar-powered and built with local materials to blend in with the surroundings. The majority of the furniture and decorations at the lodge were handcrafted by the local community.

The main building is grass thatched and includes a restaurant, bar, and terrace. Delicious organic meals and tasty drinks can be enjoyed while admiring the scenic beauty of the small natural lake in front of the restaurant.

The food is usually of great quality and special diets such as vegetarian, gluten-free, and other variations can be arranged.

The lodge has seven luxurious cottages and a safari house that can sleep up to seven people. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower and is connected to the restaurant via a wooden elevated walkway.

Bamboo huts and safari tents with shared outdoor shower facilities are also available in the acacia forest for an exciting bush experience.

Enjojo Lodge is the ideal place to observe the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife while on a game drive. It is only about a 5-minute drive from the Ishasha Sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park entrance gate.

There are plenty of other things to do to keep you occupied including bush breakfasts, guided nature walks, fishing, camping, bicycle rides, and guided tours to the nearby Bakiga communities.
